strange indeed since Engimail reports the GPA version instead of the GnuPG version. I don't know exactly how that could happen but I'd make sure that there are no remainders of previous GnuPG installations. So, uninstall any GnuPG package (don't remove your keyrings, the uninstaller doesn't touch those), search your hard drive for gpg.exe - if you find some, remove them, also call "set | more" from the command line (Start -> "cmd") and look out for anything that contains gpg or GnuPG and remove it (from "Computer" -> "Properties" -> "Advanced Settings"(?). Once you have a clean system, install gpg4win as you did. Use the default settings concerning installation path. Since you seem to use GPA, you might want to use the preselection, but only the GnuPG package is needed for Enigmail. If this doesn't change the issue, please uninstall Enigmail, restart Thunderbird, reinstall Enigmail and restart Thunderbird once more. If you still encounter such problems, please enable debugging in Enigmail ADVANCED options and provide a log (remove personal data first!).
