I'm on OS X 10.6.8 with Thunderbird 17.0.

Everything was working fine, and now suddenly I get a dialog box with
"OpenPGP Alert" when I try to send.

This is not the first time this happened. The last time this happened,
I had to do a major purge and reinstall of just about everything
(OpenPGP, Thunderbird, etc.) to get it to go away. So, it was *not*
that the key expired (that was the first thing I checked).

IIRC, the issue last time was a missing passphrase, yet nothing seems to
ask me enter one. So, I don't really know what's up. When I run the
command in the console at my command line I get (among other things):

> [GNUPG:] NEED_PASSPHRASE 5ACFF2B909015D65 831409D095FDEC16 1 0
> gpg: problem with the agent: End of file
> [GNUPG:] ERROR get_passphrase 16383
> [GNUPG:] MISSING_PASSPHRASE

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
-a
