This has happened to me several times, now, where I reply to a message, and

> all
> of
> its
> lines
> are
> quoted
> like so,

and I pen my reply interspersed throughout.. Then I click send, and it
gets converted to ciphertext, after which Thunderbird attempts to reach
the SMTP server to send the message. If it fails to connect, for
whatever reason, then it will pop up with an error dialog, after which
it will convert the message back to plain text before inserting it back
into the composition pane. The problem is, whereas the message I'd have
attempted to send might have been:

> foo
bar

> baz
quz,

The message that would be prefilled in the new composition pane would be:

bar
quz,

Which is very frustrating.

I guess this is a bug, though if anyone is aware of any workaround, then
I'd love to hear it.

Thanks
