Hi Philip,

just a short first sentence for those looking whether this email
is on interest:
Today I fixed a bug with the new behavior,
so that the +/- computation should be (more) correct now
(with the next build available on Monday).

Well I am talking about Windows.
However, the change in background color (of the whole icon)
I would expect to see on any platform.
If you click on the icon, dies the background change?

I made a bug, which I fixed today.
So, if you use the nightly build available tomorrow (Monday)
that should be fixed.
If not, please tell me.

The last sentence is the effect I meant with changing the background.
In general, the backgound color shows your general preference for this
email. Then + or - signal changes according to recipient rules and
auto encryption.

Yes, because you change the general wish, which will be followed
if no encryption is forced (having a +)
or non-encryption is forced (having a -).

Well, I am not sure whether the interface is very intuitive,
but in general this has been the interface before (modulo some bugs).

no, it should apply to all messages.

Thanks for the feedback on the help texts.
