I'd like to see an enhancement added to Thunderbird when communicating
via a submitter's public key. It would be nice to be able to simply
click on the 'TO' category to select the emailer's public key which
would then tell the system not to use my own key.

Currently, I have to select the individual's public key manually from
the Open 'PGP Security' portion of Account Settings, otherwise
Thunderbird uses either my e-mail address or a specific public key I had
assigned to my identity. On occasion, Thunderbird has blocked me from
specifying another's public key in that slot. Outside public keys are
not automatically associated with their email addresses (to my
knowledge) at least in Thunderbird version 24.6.0.

It would save a bit of time in multiple responses.

Thanks,
