-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Another feature I really like (in fact I think I was one of the ones that suggested it a while ago) is the ability to automatically sign a response to a signed message. I don't routinely sign stuff, but if I am replying to a signed message I can be confident that the recipient is PGP-savvy. That feature has worked well for a long time now, so far so good. :)
Today I sent a (signed) message to a mailing list, but I used the wrong ~From address, so the message got held up in moderation. Tbird has another feature I really like, "edit message as new," which I used to recreate my message from my Sent folder, change the From address to the proper one, and then sent it. Unfortunately I forgot to check that the message would be signed, as in my mind it should have been covered by the "reply to a signed message" feature ... ... and of course, thinking about it now, I was quite wrong about that, as this was not any kind of reply at all, and I'm sure that Tbird is using a completely different mechanism. Thus, my feature request ... can the "sign response to signed message" feature be extended here?
