- Please try to locate your Thunderbird profile directory. - Close Thunderbird - Rename (not delete!) the file named "xulstore.json" to e.g. "xulstore.json.bak" - Start Thunderbird After this, the layout will look different. Do you now see the decrypt button? This method has some collateral damage: Your folder sorting and activated columns has been lost and must be reestablished. But sometimes there is a wrong entry in "xulstore.json" and it makes buttons invisible and other bugs of that sort. If it doesn't help you, close Thunderbird and delete "xulstore.json", and rename "xulstore.json.bak" to "xulstore.json". In any case, please report back! Ludwig
