Hi Mark, (short private correspondance: encrypted messages) when I open the mail in Thunderbird it is OK but when I open the mail in gmail webmail, I see an attached file "noname" which contains "version: 1"well, yes, (Google) Webmail recognizes MIME but not PGP/MIME. Thus it will show the PGP/MIME version identification as attachment. can we have a option to send MIME mail that not attach the "noname" fileNo. It's what PGP/MIME standard requires. or I must send the mail with PGP option to avoid the attached fileYou may disable "PGP/MIME" in Enigmail settings. This will allow for "inline" signed/encrypted messages. But you will see the signature in clear then (which looks worse) and you should NOT use HTML with "inline". Thus, if you want to write fancy messages (bold, colors, images in the message itself) AND sign/encrypt, you HAVE to use PGP/MIME.
