Dear fellow Enigmail users,
I recently changed the password on my GnuPG key. I can sign and encrypt
documents with my new password, and the old password is rejected every time.
However, Enigmail is being very strange. It /only/ accepts the old
password. A bit of searching the nets suggests that this is due to
gpg-agent remembering the old password (maybe). I have set 'remember
password' to 0 minutes. I have put 'no-use-agent' in my ~/gnupg/gpg.conf
file. I tried to uninstall gnupg-agent from the package manager but no
luck. I also went to Enigmail settings and set 'no-use-agent' in
advanced settings > additional parameters for gpg, but I get 'encryption
error'.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Duncan Guthrie
