This is probably the culprit. Just to be sure: have you unchecked the option in Enigmail preferences -> Advanced Tab -> "Only download attachments when opened"? You may have to enable "Display Expert Settings and Menus" in the "Basic" tab to reach the "Advanced" tab. Ludwig
