Hi again,

At the moment, I am lauching elogind manually, just to try to make it
work. I modified and ran the data/config/build... script, to have (as
explained a few days ago):

edb_ed $DB add /elogin/session/0/name str "Default"
edb_ed $DB add /elogin/session/0/path str "/home/schmitta/.xinitrc"
edb_ed $DB add /elogin/session/count int 1

I did remove all other sessions from the script. When I launch elogind,
I get the only Default choice, as expected. I enter my username and
password, the script blinks, and goes back to elogin (and the wm is
never launched). From the logs (/var/log/messages), I get:

Jan 21 14:51:15 alan-schm1p elogin(pam_unix)[26916]: session opened for user schmitta
by (uid=0)
Jan 21 14:51:15 alan-schm1p elogin(pam_unix)[26916]: session closed for user schmitta

Unfortunately, there is no output in the console where I launch elogin
from. I wanted to see if there was any debug mode, but elogind --help
segfaults.

How can I see what is preventing e17 from starting (startx with the same
.xinitrc works perfectly).

Another question: how do I quit elogind ? ctrl-alt-backspace relaunches
it, so I must kill -9 elogind and X.

Alan
