Bartley J.Kleypas :
Actualy, I was kidding. I hang out on the IRC channel a lot, and people
laff at me for wanting realtime satalight picture backgrounds, auto
updating with a website, while having backgrounds that would be kinda
like old-school side scrolling video games, ie mario and sonic. Where
the background has multi layers, with the canvas taking mouse cursor
position and determining the backgrounds layer position according.
Imagin like your mouse is a character in a sonic game, and the
backgrounds layer and move based on the mouse position. My comment was
more or less a joke at my expence. ;)

One more letter about Enaa. Make bg show daytime is quite easy:
1st layer -- Earth map (if you try satellite pictures, even 12 600x800 images will use plenty of mem, but possible too)
2nd layer -- night mask
3rd layer -- night cities lights

Just command mask slowly move with 24*60*60 seconds period (this can be done as true enaa theme)

Weather. It can't be done as code-less theme, but not difficult to hack.
Define map and each city weather (like /eed/city1/rain /eed/city1/sunny), and _manually_ set them after grep-ping forecast website or whatever. Also you can define 100x100 small clouds and show/hide them according to pictures from forecast website. Manually too. "Manually" may be as well replaced with sorta IPC.

Games -- piece of cake :) Wanna write some? :)
