While we're on the topic, has anybody whomped on the e_gen_gnome_menu script to deal with the Gnome 2.0+ 'desktop' files? (Probably the KDE ones need whomping too, but I don't have any KDE-ish apps, and I *do* use some of the Gnome apps under E)...
