If we want to solve inter dependency issues, then we have to create some sort of apt repository! :-p It is possible of doing a personal apt repository then placing all the cvs-converted rpm packages inside. Then w/ an "apt-get install iconbar", it would install all the required dependency libraries and then install the iconbar. I would be glad to make a public apt repository (something like freshrpms) for RH-based/Fedora Core distros that would have all the E libraries. And updated rpms that would be freshly built from cvs every day. But at the moment I lack a fixed place to create a server with a fixed IP! And most of the time I using the resources of the University and I behind a firewall, so nobody outside the University can access my hdd. So if I could get some free server out there, I would consider setting up a public apt repository for E17 / E17 EFL. With kind regards, Didier. --- PhD student.
