How about a (tiny) bit more information?
I'm assuming you mean e17 (since you mention that you built apps/libs anew)?
A backtrace would be preferred.
To do this, from a console:
   xinit -- :1
And from another console:
   DISPLAY=1 gdb enlightenment
at the gdb prompt:
   run

then get e to crash and type 'bt' at the gdb prompt.
send a copy of the output to the list.
