Casrsten,

That's exactly right. I removed the default.edj, which I got from get-e.org, from ~/.e/e/themes
So I guess that solves 1 and 2. Thank you.

I like to bring to attention some possible bugs in case no one has
brought them up:

1. Today, I recompiled E17 from CVS and after installing all of the new
themes (winter, milky, etc) and then switching to winter theme or any,
the menu icons have dissappeared from the menu (i.e. the icons for next
to modules, desktop, windows, Gadgets, etc.).

works here. did you install the default theme from get-e.org? don't. never use
it
ever. use the default from e17's source. never CP default.edj into ~/.e/e/themes
ln -s it if anything. icons are IN the them now. if the theme doesnt provide
them, the default them is used as a fallback. it is very likely you have an old
default theme that u downloaded or copied there and thus doesnt have this data.

2. The box or message that displays the desktop numbers (i.e. desktop
1,0; desktop 0, 0) when switching through the virtual desktops, also
ceases to display.

same as above with icons.

3. I have also lost Eclair's capability to add new files.

4. I have seen this before and I still yet to find a solution for
compiling engrave. Here's the error that I get when compiling it:

/usr/local/lib/libecore_file.so /usr/local/lib/libeet.so -lz
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so -lm
