what do you mean when you say "I cannot path my way"?
do you try to write the full path to the icon in the Icon->path field
of the editor window? that path actually refers to the path where to
save the eap file, not to the image file to use.
indeed this can lead users to confusion, I think it would be better to
rename "Icon" with something more specific, like "Eap file".
maybe it would be better even to rename "Icon", the title of the
icon-chooser button, to "Image" or "Image file"

I'm on a slackware box.
I click on the button named "Icon" and browse the disk in the efm
window which appears to find the image file I want to use.
