This is one of those things that I really hope doesn't happen.
e17 in tar.gz takes 84Mb, which would take some people (like me) who aren't 
lucky enough to live in a place with broadband (bl**dy BT) about 4 hours to 
download, compared to about 10 mins for a cvs update. Thats if my connection 
manages to last that long (gprs is not the most reliable meathod of connecting 
to the net).

Daily tarballs are fine, for people with even a basic bb connection. Not so 
good for those people that have either download limits (my gprs or the one from 
Oz with only 200Mb) or those only with a modem.
