because it is a different location for gadgets and your config doesnt have
anything set up to be put in that location - thus its empty. use the illume
profile to get something set up "right" :) just use it - everything will be "as
it should". illume wasnt intended for desktops - it was really hacked up and
written for hand-held portrait style displays with small screens (touchscreens).

well a bunch of illume needs generalising into things - it was hacked up in a
hurry with a lot of competing forces pushing it around.
