weird, it should build with last webkit (and thus webkit-efl) and svn eve, at least works here. > I am asking who is working on eve webbrowser, and what is his plan? > I would like also know if the development was completely stopped or not. I know Raoul and Calaos people use WebKit-EFL in their project, so it should work... and they do contribute patches. While INdT stopped working on it to focus on Qt (= Nokia), some of its employees are working on it on their free time. Last but not least, ProFUSION (my company) is working on it on behalf of another company that shall remain unnamed. If/When they release their product we may see the source code, as WebKit-EFL license requires. So WebKit-EFL is not changing that much and would use more help... but it's not abandoned anyhow. Eve is basic and works, I do have nice plans to it like statusbar (that auto-hides, like Chrome), history, favorites and TABS, but no time to work on those soon. If you find someone with time to do, I can do mentoring. If you ignore more advanced features, I guess we can have a fast browser that looks like Google Chrome with very little effort. > I would like to see eve in shr, as it was the most useful webbrowser, as > none of the alternatives (midori, arora, woosh) provide finger scrolling. :-) > If it helps, I can contact shr developers, and > ask for the specific build error message. that would help. -- Gustavo Sverzut Barbieri http://profusion.mobi embedded systems -------------------------------------- MSN: barbi...@gmail.com Skype: gsbarbieri Mobile: +55 (19) 9225-2202 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
