Hi people.
I'm doing some research into toolkits for mobile devices for a commercial project. I'd like to use elementary ( it's a medium-to-long term project ... beta status is OK for now ), but have no idea what devices are supported. The last time mobile device support was discussed in detail was about a year ago. There was a comment Vincent Torri that he was working on Windows CE support. Is there any news on this front? Is there any support for Windows Mobile? Is there a definitive list of supported devices? Here's the list of devices discussed last time ... I assume they're all running Linux (?): compaq ipaq3660 sharp zaurus sl-5000 sharp zaurus sl-c860 openmoko gta01 openmoko gta02 nokia n800 openmoko and maemo arm imx31 and possible others freescale systems (we have imx31 running e17) xscale/arm intel ce2110 (set top box, digital tv) mips box for set top boxes, by free.fr --- Symbian - sits on top of Mobile OS - wouldn't require device to run Linux. Status? --- If anyone can flesh out this list with more info, it would be greatly appreciated. In particular, I'm interested in support for devices in their *unhacked* state, as it's a commercial project I'm looking to work on. If I get some responses, I'll make a wiki page on http://wiki.enlightenment.org and try to keep it updated based on discussions, announcements, etc. Thanks :) Dan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
