Unfortunately, I didn't notice that CURLOPT_USERNAME and
CURLOPT_PASSWORD only exist since 7.19.1

However, libcurl 7.19.1 been released way back in "05-Nov-2008 16:00"
(check here http://curl.haxx.se/download/ ) so it can hardly be called
"bleeding edge".
