Unfortunately, I didn't notice that CURLOPT_USERNAME and CURLOPT_PASSWORD only exist since 7.19.1 http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/curl_easy_setopt.html#CURLOPTUSERNAME However, libcurl 7.19.1 been released way back in "05-Nov-2008 16:00" (check here http://curl.haxx.se/download/ ) so it can hardly be called "bleeding edge". What operating systems still in common use have it? Vincent, what are you running?
