If _e_startup_event_cb isn't called, then init should never finish 
(check the e_init_undone/e_init_done calls in e_startup).

Many thanks Seb :-) Wanted to get this sorted for Jef asap....Bodhi is a 
stabple in E workd (afai am concerned). They provide easy access to E and users 
love Bodhi (wrt reviews). So IMO we shoukd support them (Jeff) as much as we 
can !! Many thanks Seb for the help !!;-)
