One other problem with a change to C++, I would leave, and I suspect
many others would to.  Though I'm sure there would be an influx of new
C++ developers to compensate.  It's not that I don't know C++, I've
been doing C++ programming professionally for over a decade.  I just
much prefer C to C++.  Very strongly prefer.
