you know how i love to disagree with you... but you are absolutely right. *WE*
didn't commit to support of 10.04 or 11.04 of ubuntu. canonical did. we are
free to raise out requirements as we see fit. we did not commit to keeping them
static.

i DO suggest that we keep in mind though that we will have people on older
systems and by ensuring we don't build/run on them we basically lose users. :)

indeed. they likely never will as they dont use it themselves even if it is in
multiverse/universe ... :)
