When I started as a trainee programmer, waaay back in the day, the head
programmer would scrawl line editor commands all over source code print
outs, then hand them to me to actually type in.  It was nice and
simple, and left a good record of what changed.  It was also very
educational.   We should go back to those methods.  I nominate
discomfiter as the guy to do the typing, he obviously types much
faster than me.
