Hi, I think the clipboard API should not be released yet. It should be marked as beta, but not as stable. Right now, it is just a terrible mess. I think I have a clear picture of how to overhaul it, but I would prefer to wait and implement copy/paste of pictures to verify the model. I'm afraid it will not happen soon, so I propose we leave the clipboard API out of the release.
I don't really know how it should be done. I think leaving the API undocumented and putting big fat warnings: "DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU ARE A FOOL". Does it seem fine to you?
