This has been going on for years, so I think everyone is familiar with the
"send mail to fix servers!" method by now.

The fact that it's still happening after all these years is not ideal; if
it can't be fixed, or if we somehow lack the manpower to fix it, perhaps we
need to start looking at alternate hosting solutions?
