you should be able to start any app through enlightenment adding an
entry in your ~/.enlightenment/...e_session-XXXXXX.snapshots.0 by hand,
following the syntax of other entries that are already in there.

I run a script this way, here are the lines in that file that do it:

NEW: xreminders.xreminders
NAME: xreminders
CLASS: xreminders
CMD: /home/max/bin/xreminders

obviously, being a script I did not set any window options :)
