In my recent forays into E's CVS code, i noticed a problem... I'm
currently running E compiled from CVS, current as of about 3 days ago,
with one minor patch applied. What i noticed when compiling the same
on another machine, where i use a more colourful theme, is that the
cursors are now being displayed in black and white.

I went back to the DR16.6 release and applied the same patch to the
code there (which solved my window positioning problem), and i have my
coloured cursors back. I can only assume that some change between the
DR16.6 release and now did something strange cursor-wise.

If this is just typical instability associated with running the latest
CVS code, then ignore this :) On the other hand, if no-one else is
seeing this and needs me to test possible fixes, i'm game.

I was not aware of this problem. Which theme is that?

One big difference between DR16.6 and CVS is that CVS by default uses imlib2.
Could you try configuring with --without-imlib2 and see if that makes a difference?
