This is probably a very optimistic request, but I was wondering if it is possible to configure the "remember position and size of window" thing to only work with the first window that's opened in an application.
I use autocad a lot and find it quite annoying that the application always opens in the same position and size -- a bit too big and partly off the bottom of the screen. I have tried resizing it to my desired size and then getting enlightenment to remember the window size and location, but this causes problems with dialog boxes that are opened -- they all open at an enormous size, the same as the window size. This causes problems when I want to use "preview" type options where I need to see the main window as well as the dialog.
I have similar problems with one or two other applications as well.
Does anyone know if there is a way round this? The only thing I can fault in an otherwise fantastic environment. Many thanks to all the developers!
There is a good chance these problems are solved in the current CVS version.
