Currently on 16.6, maybe you mean in 16.7? I'm in the process of upgrading, but
this was written before .7 was out...

Nay, once you're on desktop #1 and scroll up, nothing happens. What'd be best
is that if you're on desktop #2 and scroll up repeatedly, it sticks on #1, but
if you're on #1, they you go to #4 (assuming 4 desktops). There should be a
non-scroll event between going from #1 to #4, if you're just scrolling it'll
stick at the end.

It's always dragged *over*, which is graphically incorrect

16.6:
Scroll up (#2 to #1):
22222
22222 ^
11111 |
11111 |
11111 |
11111

Scroll down (#1 to #2):
11111
11111 ^
22222 |
22222 |
22222 |
22222

Should be:
22222
22222 |
11111 |
11111 |
11111 v
11111

WTF? I know E does groups, I was talking about magnetism (hence "window
magnetism") - when you move one window edge close to another window edge (or
the edge of the screen), they snap together. Currently there is some resistance
if you try and drag one window over another, but magnetism is slightly easier.

Current:
1111 2222
1111 ---->22 Try to drag over
1111 2222

gives

11112222
11112222 Doesn't go over, it just sticks together
11112222

,

1111 2222
1111 -> 2222 Try to drag near
1111 2222

gives

1111 2222
1111 2222 Drags near
1111 2222

should be

11112222
11112222 Sticks together
11112222

As pointed out, this'd be better as an option, as some would probably find it
annoying to be on by default.
