Sorry, but I can see their point.  No UTF-8, no tabs.  Just unable to
compete with the current state of gnome-terminal, for one.  I switched
over a year ago and see no reason to go back.  If E as a total package
was still seen as a major-league environment, rather than as a better WM
for Gnome or KDE, then ETerm might make sense.  But until E0.17 is
ready, I don't see much point in it.
