I was going to say, Edje will be able to do that... Including fading from
one bg image to the next, rotating transitions, slides and what not. In
fact, it might even play videos, if I read raster right on #e a couple of
weeks ago. Of course, it won't be ready until we actually have all the EFL
good and stable and ready for use in DR17. But I think it'll actually be
there. I'm glad I'm taking CS in college this fall: I'll learn how to
program in C, and I'll be (at last!) of some usefulness for E's code.
(well, usefulness remains to be seen. I might just break everything
too...)
Anyhow, to answer your question there will be no need for an extra lib, as
edje is there for that.
