This is exactly what you said:

    This is stupid. Conversations should take place on the list, so
    everyone can benefit from questions of other users. Adding a
    Reply-To will increase on-list discussions.

I would love to know how you came to the erroneous conclusion that
what you said and what I said were even close to being "exactly" the
same.

I think "lots of information" is an exaggeration of reality.  But it's
