One VERY informative site that you will definitely want to check out,
if you haven't already, is www.get-e.org.  It has a very helpful users
guide as well as a few very nice looking themes.

Looking at raster's get_e script it builds the core libraries (eet,
imlib2, evas, ecore, embryo, edje), e17 itself, and if you want
entrance (which you said that you didn't), it builds entrance's
dependencies (edb, epeg, epsilon, esmart, and entrance).  So for you
it would build eet, imlib2, evas, ecore, embryo, edje, and e.
