I just grabbed from (sorry for any wrapping):
cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/enlightenment login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/enlightenment
co e17/apps/e_modules
And replaced my previous source with it. Then configured, compiled,
installed, and de/re-activated my modules from the desktop menu. But I
see no new features on the modules or new modules of any kind.
Should I be getting updated source from somewhere else, or is there
something more I need to do on my side?
Also, is there somewhere that updates and stable(ish) changes are posted
for various packages, so I know when I should download new source?

desktops module?!?
you're referring to the pager, the desktopname module, or another
module?
The pager it seems... right click on it, and there's now some new
options to enable certain functionality that was discussed on the lists
a while back.
