Create a gnome-settings-daemon.eap file using: e_util_eapp_edit gnome-settings-daemon.eap (The exec should be "gnome-settings-daemon") When that file is created, make sure you put it here "~/.e/e/applications/all". Next create a text file with the following: gnome-settings-daemon.eap Name the text file ".order", and save it in "~/.e/e/applications/startup". That will make the gnome-settings-daemon run when you startup e. Also you will probably want to change the show_desktop setting for nautilus, otherwise your gnome desktop wallpaper will show up when you open nautilus. To change that run the "gconf-editor", and uncheck the "show_desktop" option in "apps/nautilus/preferences".
