Why you thing that software what you use cannot change ??
Open source is about freedom so if don't understand to changes made to
improve enlightenment then don't upgrade or now downgrade to old 16.7.2
version.

E16 is good and E17 will be best ;) ,but to time when E17 will be
released,but every software had bugs and every algorithm can be improved
to be more secure,quick,etc.... so EVERY GOOD CHANGE IS WELCOME :)
