This is a supplement.
* titlebars of the dialogs to configure e16 such as focus,
virtual desktop, etc.: garbled
* titlebar of mozilla : normal (I wonder why?)
* emacs -title "Japanese characters": garbled
* Eterm -T "Japanese characters": garbled
At least some of this is caused by --enable-ecore-x. This option is for
experimental/testing purposes only!!!
The ecore_x versions of ecore_x_icccm_title_get/set assume that the
internal encoding of stings is utf8. This is the case in e16 only if the
locale is utf8.
The mozilla title is ok because mozilla not only sets WM_NAME but also
_NET_WM_NAME, which is always utf8.
