I really miss the way kde & even windblows let me select a resize option from the win-ops menu and then use the arrow keys to resize said window... (hitting enter when I'm happy with the result)
This wasn't in E16 either. But there, (at least with the boarder style set to default) It was at least possible to position the mouse pointer near the bottom right corner until the mouse pointer changed and then with the mouse button held down, the corner could be dragged to a new position which resized the window. I can't find a way to do this with e17. Though there is at least a win-ops choice for certain gadgets that promise to enable, and then another to start a resizing. But I haven't had stable results with that and the win-ops menu doesn't offer that for regular windows such as an xterm... How do you do this with e17????????? -- | ~^~ ~^~ | <?> <?> Joe (theWordy) Philbrook | ^ J(tWdy)P | \___/ <<jtw...@ttlc.net>> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ enlightenment-users mailing list enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users
