It would appear that on Feb 20, Stafford Horne did say:

Thanks Stafford, Carston's explanation of the scaling tool works for
me IF I use the default theme... And while If fount out that it is
'possible' to navigate pop-ups with the keyboard with the default
theme, it's easy to lose track of where you are when the currently
selected button isn't highlighted. And YOUR method works with the
detour theme... And so far I haven't found a downside to it {I'd knock
on wood, but I'm afraid of getting a concussion...<snicker>}!

And if I do find a downside, It won't be hard to disable the custom
font class, switch themes, and re-enable the personal scaling...
