It would appear that on Sep 24, Ross Vandegrift did say:

Hmmmn I'm sorry but I seem to have initially missed this thread.
And most of it was not saved on my pc. But a reply just caught my eye and
led me to the archive. ;-)
There have been a few suggestions, and even a sub-discussion over which mouse
button
should be what... Which of course is a configurable choice. Which brings me
to my point about your resize issue. If you would consider an alternate
method, there is a simple solution to *_MOST_* window resize (and move)
problems related to having difficulty grabbing the "zone" with a pointing
device... I myself have personal difficulties with manipulating a mouse
accurately. It's a little better with a trackball or even my laptops
touchpad, (once I disable all the synaptics scrolling and "tapping". And
drastically reduce acceleration, and speed in general. But it's always a
painful process for me. So I've learned to use keyboard methods for these
kind of things. So much so, I would use enlightenment_remote to add
these to E17:
enlightenment_remote -binding-key-add ANY "m" "SHIFT|ALT" 0 "window_move" ""
enlightenment_remote -binding-key-add ANY "s" "SHIFT|ALT" 0 "window_resize" ""
But you could go with Settings->Settings Panel->Input->Key Bindings:
click on "Add Key" Enter an unused keybinding (perhaps Shift+Alt+s)
select "Resize" from the "Window: Actions" section and click on
Apply... Then repeat (if desired) with a keybinding for "Move"
Then any window that accepts focus can be resized and/or moved without so
much as touching the mouse. (it doesn't work with gadgets and or
applications like xeyes that don't accept focus) But otherwise, Once
the window is in focus, type the shortcut and a small display popup
will indicate the current size (or if move, the current position)
At which point you can use the arrow keys to resize (or reposition)
the window. When you got it the way you want it you can either
wait for a couple of seconds of inactivity, and the resize/move
process will exit. OR you can just hit enter and be done with it.
In the event that you need to do this on E16 then as long as you have
the DR16 1.0.0 or above you can edit your ~/.e16/bindings.cfg to
include (in the "Aclass KEYBINDINGS global" section) something like these:
KeyDown AS m wop * move kbd
KeyDown AS s wop * size kbd
