These symptoms only started 2-3 weeks ago here.  When on battery the
crashes happen within 20 minutes or so, invariably when I click on
Kmail to do something (e.g. post a response) with mplayer playing at
the same time and perhaps a couple of terminals open.  I don't know if
Kmail causes some race condition or what not, but I would not think
that this would cause the whole desktop to crash ...

Running p *svr in gdb returned:  "'No symbol "srv" in current context.'

Please let me know if there's anything else I should try to help debug
this as I can't really run e17 reliably until it gets fixed.
