 Thanks for the feedback.  No need for me to switch to the console to kill
the program.  I just have to hit ctrl-c.  Input is still going to the
terminal I start the game with.

 I tried restarting the game half a dozen times, but the focus never worked.
The only thing that works is to start in windowed mode, and then switch to
fullscreen.  Or, just staying in a window, which is what I usually do.
