Well it seems I'm stuck in a bit of a catch 22 - I need mpDris 1 to connect to the Empris module, but only mpDris2 seems to want to connect to MPD...
When I run the command: $ mpDris -p ~/Music& It tells me this: $ Fatal: MPD command error: [3@0] {password} incorrect password I find this a bit odd as my MPD isn't passworded and runs as my normal user (As opposed to a system daemon) I've tried running it like this: mpDris -p ~/Music [mypasswordforuser] And that doesn't spit out any errors, but it still doesn't hook up to to Empris module (And this is mpDris 1, not 2) Never thought I'd be running through these sort of hoops just to get a music player frontend working :P ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master SQL Server Development, Administration, T-SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS and more.
