Hi there, I am pretty sure that there was a discussion about this topic before, and I think it was here, but using <my favourite search engine> I was unable to find it, up to now. So, I'd be grateful, if anyone could provide a link to the relevant thread!
My question: Do I understand it correctly, that I cannot use the desktop recycle bin by dragging and dropping files onto it, like in Xfce and KDE, because e17 and EFM do not support this functionality on the desktop? I have a trashbin icon on the desktop. In Xfce and KDE I can throw files onto that icon, and then empty the bin or recycle the files. In e17 the icon just does nothing. As far as I know, other users have solved this by - either use a file manager with recycle bin support, instead of using the desktop icon - or using a dedicated e17 trash bin Now, if I was using e17 exclusively, both would be acceptable solutions for me. However, I sometimes still like (or have some reason) to switch my environment and use KDE or Xfce. And there I use the desktop trash bin, occasionally. Therefore I'd like to know, how to get it functional in e17, as well. Is it possible? How? Thanks! gargamel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 positioned as A LEADER in The Forrester Wave(TM): Endpoint Security, Q1 2013 and "remains a good choice" in the endpoint security space.
