enlightenment won't run terminology on start... i don't know what is
happening... but enlightenment is probably not running at all. i do not know
why you are seeing what you do. something is missing on debian. normally i just
use slim and set it up with systemctl to start on boot and i configure
slim.conf to log my user in automatically with no password (if i care about
locking others out of the machine i set e to desklock on startup instead).

maybe it's issues with the e19 ppa repository you have? i don't use debian so i
can't really say much (i use arch .. and everything seems to work).
