I'll have to observe it more carefully. Right now if I slide my finger sideways on the glidepad, it does indeed stay close to the edge on the new desktop. But I have very often had the mouse jump to the center of whatever application window is open on the new desktop, which is very annoying. But I must find the circumstances which make this happen. > under settings -> input -> edge bindings. It was the Input which had eluded me: I expected it under Screen.
