Hello fellow Terminology enthusiasts! I was made aware of a security issue in Terminology this morning ( https://phab.enlightenment.org/T7504 ). I acknowledged the issue and worked on a fix that is now provided in Terminology 1.3.1.
The issue is a Remote Code Execution vulnerability caused by Terminology's special escape codes. Those can already be disabled in the Settings panel. Here is the complete ChangeLog: == Addition == * Add manpages about Terminology's helpers == Fixes == * Do not popup unknown media types (security issue) * Right-click on hyperlinks no longer crashes Due to issues with enlightenment.org infrastructure, I am hosting the tarball and will also do that on the next releases. It can be found at https://fau.re/terminology/terminology-1.3.1.tar.xz sha256sum: 5f8abe4a2a2dd0270c32f2c4f93078a7f759e067b6e8cf998994a06342948981 terminology-1.3.1.tar.xz Thanks to Ben N <pajex...@gmail.com> for reporting the issue in a very clear way. Happy compiling!
